About the experience
Jointly hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Hunan Provincial People’s Government and the British Consulate-General Guangzhou, this anniversary exhibition was organised and digitally developed by MGC. More than 200 photographs and related films connect Hunan and the UK through cultural exchange and landscapes.
What to explore
The photo exhibition offers themed browsing of visits, cooperation and scenery, with Chinese and English background descriptions. The video exhibition presents a timeline of exchanges and related moving-image content. Parts of the interface and videos retain their original language.
How to begin
Select Launch experience above to open the exhibition in a new tab. Close the original New Year greeting and choose the entry arrow. Read or close the foreword, then choose the photo or video exhibition. In the photo section, select topics and browse images; in the video section, choose a film and use the player controls.
Devices and viewing
Use a mouse on desktop or landscape orientation on mobile. The photo exhibition requires WebGL graphics support. Start sound using the browser’s playback controls when needed.
Historical exhibition
The original exhibition ran from 8 December 2022 to 26 January 2023. This entry provides access to the historical exhibition, including some original prompts and interface design. The interactive experience runs on the external exhibition website.
