On December 7, 2022, the online opening ceremony of the "50th Anniversary of the Establishment of Ambassadorial-Level Diplomatic Relations between China and the UK · Hunan-UK Exchange and Cooperation Photo Exhibition," jointly hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Hunan Provincial People's Government and the British Consulate-General in Guangzhou and organized by Hunan MGC Digital Technology Co., Ltd., was successfully held at the Foreign Affairs Office of the Hunan Provincial People's Government.
Fourteen UK representatives, including Acting Consul-General of the British Consulate-General in Guangzhou Matt Moody, Lincolnshire County Council Executive Councillor Colin Davie, Lincolnshire County Council Assistant Director of Regional Development Justin Brown, Lincolnshire Business Development Centre Economic Development Manager Samantha Harrison, and Lincolnshire Business Development Centre Business Development Lead Angela, along with Xu Zhengxian, Director of the Hunan Provincial Foreign Affairs Office; Qiu Aihua, Deputy Director of the Hunan Provincial Foreign Affairs Office; Tao Qiong, Director of the Changsha Foreign Affairs Office; Zhou Huaiguo, Director of the European Affairs Division of the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office; Deng Gaohong, Director of the News and Culture Division of the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office; and Zheng Xi, Deputy Director of the Changsha Foreign Affairs Office, participated in the online opening ceremony of the Hunan-UK Exchange and Cooperation Photo Exhibition.
To ensure pandemic safety, the opening ceremony was held via online livestream.
