Transforming the World · The Hunan CPC History Exhibition

The upgraded Hunan History Exhibition Hall of the Communist Party of China opened on 18 September 2025. MGC participated in the overall design and construction. According to the company’s project article, the exhibition received a Merit Project Award in the 23rd National Top Ten Museum Exhibitions selection for 2025.

Four principal sections trace revolution, socialist construction, reform and opening up, and contemporary development in Hunan. Seven thematic spaces, twelve key exhibits and thirteen interpretive pillars give the historical narrative a spatial structure.

Distinctive entrance halls establish each period through sculptural forms and visual references. A dedicated gallery introduces historical figures from Hunan, while lecture and education spaces support talks, meetings and public programmes.

The exhibition brings together more than 1,000 objects, sets of objects and documents. Six interpretation points connect displays with education, using responsive lighting and multimedia commentary. A new 700-square-metre learning area includes more than twenty multimedia interactive installations and over ten technology-and-art settings, as described in the project article.

Live theatrical performances bring stories into the exhibition setting. An interactive flower tribute installation combines projection mapping, floor interaction and spatial sound, allowing visitors to make a virtual floral tribute.

Selected photographs and the original promotional film show the renewed exhibition. The film retains its original audio and on-screen language.
