Henggang Industrial Science & Technology Exhibition Hall

MGC designed and constructed the Henggang Industrial Science & Technology Exhibition Hall around the idea of a narrative unfolding across time and space. The exhibition brings together industrial history, technical knowledge and contemporary digital media.

The design uses thematic spaces, digital art and carefully composed open areas to make the company’s history readable and tangible. A sequence of four narrative units forms a journey through the science and story of seamless steel tubes.

The first chapter follows historic milestones and production processes, from ironmaking and steelmaking to tube rolling and finishing. The second presents research teams, technology development, patents and standards. The third combines a wide LED display, a spherical screen and detailed models to explain product applications. The final chapter explores organisational culture, employees and social responsibility.

The spatial design connects Henggang’s industrial heritage with a contemporary exhibition language. The accompanying video and photographs document the delivered project; original media retain their original language.
