The first-phase construction project of "Dongguan Memory" focuses on the Ying'en Gate City Wall Ruins Park, the comprehensive pedestrian improvement of Guancheng Bridge–Zhenhua Road, the F-shaped block renovation, the revitalization of the Shanzhou River waterfront cultural belt, the construction of the Keyuan North cultural exhibition area, and comprehensive improvements to the overall environment, traffic, and municipal infrastructure. The aim is to bring part of the old city back to life first. In addition to multiple restoration and renovation works, the project also uses block-based exhibition scene creation and virtual imagery to recreate the old city's former prosperity, showcase Guancheng's distinctive historical remains, and deeply explore Guancheng's spiritual and cultural connotations, presenting the historical and cultural heritage of a waterfront ancient city born by water, thriving with water, and blending East and West.

MGC Digital created Tide 757 — Guancheng and Water Story Hall, showcasing Dongguan's profound historical and cultural heritage and injecting new vitality into the city's cultural inheritance and innovation.
Tide 757 — Guancheng and Water Story Hall uses installations, multimedia, art panels, and other modern methods to create a thematic narrative space. It conveys humanistic spirit in artistic scenes, shows Guancheng's changes along the sea-and-river corridor, interprets the long sweep of history through dialogue experiences, and tells street and alley stories in immersive spaces.
The hall narrates through three parts—Wisdom of Rivers, Commerce Thrives by Water, and City Thrives by Commerce. It skillfully uses white, blue, and gray as the main colors to create a transparent, minimalist, and refreshing visual style. At the same time, it reviews history through more interactive and image-based methods, giving visitors a more immersive and interactive exhibition experience.
